First Thursdays – Japanese Ramen Bowls

17:30 pm & 19:30 pm
For our next First Thursday we’re demystifying one of the world’s most iconic comfort foods: Authentic Japanese Ramen. A great bowl of ramen is a labor of love, built on five essential pillars—the broth, the tare (seasoning), the noodles, the toppings, and the aromatic oils. We’re going to learn how to build deep, all-day; flavor and achieve that perfect umami balance. Get ready to slow down, breathe in the steam, and master the art of the slurp!

Spicy Apples inspired by MERAKI [may-rah-kee] (adjective) – meaning:
This is a word that modern Greeks often use to describe doing something with soul, with passion, with absolute devotion, with undivided attention, creativity, or love. When you put “something of yourself” into what you’re doing, whatever it may be. MERAKI is often used to describe cooking or preparing a meal, but it can also mean arranging a room, choosing decorations, or setting an elegant table.

I want to follow MERAKI and apply it to Spicy Apples. I wish you to experience this through these: products, events, cooking demonstrations, and classes that we want to share with you. This will be an unforgettable experience.

We, at Spicy Apples take MERAKI seriously.
