This month, we’re taking your taste buds on a journey to the Middle East all the way to Lebanon!

Join us at BECKHUIS KITCHEN for an interactive cooking experience where you’ll master the art of making Pita Bread and authentic Chicken Shawarma from scratch.

Lebanon’s food culture is deeply rooted in tradition, family, and hospitality. It’s a cuisine that brings people together, with dishes that have been passed down through generations. At the heart of Lebanese food is a balance of fresh ingredients, bold spices, and vibrant flavors—every bite tells a story of history, trade, and cultural influences from the Mediterranean, Middle East, and beyond.

One of the staples of Lebanese cuisine is Pita Bread. It’s simple, yet so essential—used to scoop up hummus, wrap around shawarma, or just enjoyed warm and fluffy straight from the oven.  We’ll also be preparing Chicken Shawarma, a dish that has become a global favorite. It’s packed with Middle Eastern spices, slow-marinated for deep flavor, and traditionally cooked on a vertical spit.

There will be a cash bar available, come early and enjoy a drink in our beautiful gardens or coffee shop.
