Learn Hand Embroidery with Familie Gedoente

It all began in 2021, when a family member wanted to create a unique, handmade gift to sell to save-up money for a overseas trip. That small idea sparked the start of Familie Gedoente—a creative venture filled with love, thread, and family spirit.

Wanting to contribute something of her own, ILLOISE BOTHA turned to hand embroidery—an art form that had always fascinated her. Soon, one hoop turned into hundreds, with orders coming in for babies, weddings, and other special moments. More than 250 hoops later, Illoise loves to teach others this calming and rewarding craft.
